Abstract

Skripsi ini berjudul "Kewenangan Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi dalam Penetapan Kasus Suap Terhadap Anggota Militer Aktif. Pada penelitian ini, penulis mengkaji mengenai kewenangan KPK dalam penetapan tersangka kasus suap terhadap anggota militer aktif. Adapun yang menjadi rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu: 1. Bagaimana kewenangan Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) dalam penetapan tersangka kasus suap terhadap anggota militer aktif?; dan 2. Apa peran independensi Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) untuk menjaga objektivitas dan integritas dalam pemberantasan kasus korupsi yang melibatkan anggota militer? Pada penelitian ini penulis menggunakan jenis penelitian normatif dengan pendekatan perundang-undangan (statute approach) dan pendekatan kasus (case approach). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) memiliki kewenangan menangani kasus korupsi yang dilakukan oleh anggota militer aktif serta Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) masih menjadi lembaga negara yang independen dalam memberantas tindak pidana korupsi di segala sektor termasuk militer.
