Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa kuat hubungan kamampuan berpikir kreatif dengan kemampuan pemodelan matematika siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian korelasi. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI MIPA 1 SMA N 1 Rambutan yang berjumlah 31 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini terdiri dari tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap akhir. Instrument yang digunakan adalah tes tertulis. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis korelasi yang terdiri dari uji prasyarat dan uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa t_(hitung ) (3.173)>t_(tabel ) (2.045) dan nilai sig. 0.004<α (0.05) dengan nilai korelasi 0.508. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa hubungan antara kemampuan berpikir kreatif dengan kemampuan pemodelan matematika bersifat positif dan signifikan, dengan hubungan yang sedang. Adapun konstribusi kemampuan berpikir kreatif terhadap kemampuan pemodelan matematika adalah sebesar 25.8%.
