Abstract
Alloyed metals play a crucial role in industry due to their superior mechanical properties compared to pure metals. One commonly used industrial metal is tin (Sn), which, despite its corrosion resistance and low melting point, exhibits relatively low hardness. To enhance its mechanical properties—particularly hardness—alloying with other metals such as aluminum (Al), copper (Cu), and zinc (Zn) is performed. These alloying elements are chosen for their ability to improve strength, durability, and performance in various applications, especially in metal casting processes. Metal casting is a key manufacturing technique in which molten metal is poured into a mold to produce a desired shape. In this study, a Brinell hardness test was conducted to evaluate the effect of these alloying elements on improving the hardness of tin. The results of this research are expected to contribute to the development of stronger, more durable, and efficient alloy materials for modern industrial needs. Keywords: Alloyed Metal, Aluminum (Al), Brinell Hardness Test, Copper (Cu), Metal Casting, Tin (Sn),, Zinc (Zn)
