Abstract
ABSTRAK Dillenia suffruticosa is a plant whose leaves are often used as rice wrappers and are also used for traditional medicine. Simpur leaves are empirically utilized as a treatment for diarrhea. leaves simpur leaves have antibacterial activity due to the content of bioactive secondary metabolites such as flavonoids, saponins, tannins, steroids, and terpenoids. A total of 11 isolates of endophytic fungi were found in simpur leaves to determine the potential of extracts contained in the leaves. simpur leaves to determine the potential of extracts contained in endophytic fungi of simpur. Extracts of endophytic fungi of symphur leaves are carried out antibacterial testing against Staphylococcus aureus ATCC25923 and Escherichia coli ATCC25922. The three best isolates in inhibiting antibacterial were obtained namely against S. Aureus isolates PDA DT1, PDA DT4, and SDA DT1. Against E. coli isolates PDA DT2, PDA DT4, and SDA DT3. Endophytic fungal isolate of PDA DT1 was similar to the genus Cladophialophora, PDA DT2 is similar to the genus Lasiodiplodia, PDA DT4 is similar to the genus Nigrospora, SDA DT1 and SDA DT3 were similar to the genus Chaetomium. Kata Kunci : Simpur (Dillenia suffruticosa), endophytic fungi, antibacterial, secondary metabolites. ABSTRAK Simpur (Dillenia suffruticosa) merupakan tanaman yang daunnya sering digunakan sebagai pembungkus nasi dan juga digunakan untuk obat tradisional. Daun simpur secara empiris dimanfaatkan sebagai pengobatan diare. Daun simpur memiliki aktivitas antibakteri karena adanya kandungan metabolit sekunder bioaktif seperti flavonoid, saponin, tanin, steroid, dan terpenoid. Sebanyak 11 isolat jamur endofit ditemukan pada daun simpur untuk mengetahui potensi ekstrak yang terkandung dalam daun simpur. Daun simpur didapatkan untuk mengetahui potensi ekstrak yang terkandung dalam fungi endofit simpur. Ekstrak fungi endofit daun simpur dilakukan uji antibakteri terhadap Staphylococcus aureus ATCC25923 dan Escherichia coli ATCC25922. Diperoleh tiga isolat terbaik dalam menghambat antibakteri yaitu terhadap S. aureus isolat PDA DT1, PDA DT4, dan SDA DT1. Terhadap E. coli isolat PDA DT2, PDA DT4, dan SDA DT3. Isolat fungi endofit PDA DT1 mirip dengan genus Cladophialophora, PDA DT2 mirip dengan genus Lasiodiplodia, PDA DT4 mirip dengan genus Nigrospora, SDA DT1 dan SDA DT3 mirip dengan genus Chaetomium. Kata Kunci : Simpur (Dillenia suffruticosa), fungi endofit, antibakteri, metabolit sekunder.
