Employing the Asset Life Cycle Management (ALCM) framework, which consists of four key phases; planning, acquisition, utilization, and disposal. This study seeks to evaluate the extent to which asset management practices align with the principles of effective public sector asset governance. Using a qualitative descriptive methodology, data were collected through interviews, direct observation, and analysis of official documents. The findings indicate that while the agency has made progress in applying structured asset management practices, the implementation of ALCM remains incomplete. The study concludes that although asset management contributes positively to organizational performance. Enhancing the quality of asset planning, streamlining procurement processes, optimizing asset use, and improving disposal mechanisms are critical to achieving greater efficiency, accountability, and sustainability in public sector asset management.
