Abstract
Landslide Hazard Zonation Mapping Based on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in Musi Rawas Regency aims to map the level of landslide susceptibility in the region by utilizing a Geographic Information System (GIS) approach. The method used is an overlay technique incorporating parameters such as slope steepness, rainfall, soil type, rock type, and land cover. Each parameter is assigned a score and weight based on its influence on landslide potential and then classified into three susceptibility levels: low, moderate, and high. The analysis results show that Musi Rawas Regency is predominantly categorized as moderate susceptibility, covering an area of 490,063.54 hectares or approximately 81.5%. The low susceptibility zone covers 89,507.56 hectares or about 14.9%, and the high susceptibility zone covers 21,244.00 hectares or around 3.5%.
