Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of grain collage activities on the fine motor development of children aged 5-6 years at Bunga Tanjung Early Childhood Education, Muara Enim. The research method used is a pre-experimental design with a one-shot case study. The sample in this study consisted of 33 children, 17 girls and 16 boys, selected using purposive sampling technique. The data collection techniques used in this study were tests, observations, and documentation. The obtained data were then analyzed using one-sample t-test. The results of the t-test calculations showed that t counted = 8.06 and t table = 1.69. Based on the calculation results, if t counted > t table, then Ha is accepted, and Ho is rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an effect of grain collage on the fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at Bunga Tanjung Early Childhood Education, Muara Enim. The implications of this research have a positive impact on language, such as mentioning the names of seeds, colors, and shapes; on social emotional aspects, such as children learning to be patient, cooperate, and appreciate their friends' work; and on the arts, such as fostering children's creativity.
