Abstract

Skripsi ini berjudul “Perkembangan tradisi Maulid Arba'in kampung Arab Al-Munawwar 13 Ulu Palembang pada tahun 2007-2017”. Permasalah yang diangkat adalah bagaimana perkembangan tradisi Maulid Arba'in kampung Arab Al-Munawwar 13 Ulu Palembang pada tahun 2007-2017. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan bagaimana perkembangan tradisi Maulid Arba'in kampung Arab Al-Munawwar 13 Ulu Palembang pada tahun 2007-2017. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode penelitian kualitatif yang digunakan dalam metode historis, menggunakan langkah Heuristik, Sumber Kritik, Interpretasi, dan Historiografi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara dan observasi. Validitas wawancara dilakukan secara terperinci untuk mendapatkan hasil yang valid dan karenanya memerlukan lebih dari 4 atau 5 orang untuk diwawancarai. Maulid Arba'in diadakan 40 malam di bulan Rabiul awwal hingga 10 rabiul akhir, yang dilakukan di berbagai tempat seperti masjid, rumah dan lapangan terbuka. Maulid Arba'in tidak hanya diikuti oleh etnis Arab tetapi juga terbuka untuk masyarakat umum di kota Palembang. Perkembangan tradisi ini dilihat dari minat, aktivitas masyarakat, bidang kerohanian dan meningkatnya rasa cinta seseorang kepada nabi agung yaitu Nabi Muhammad SAW. Kata Kunci: Al-Munawwar, Perkembangan, Tradisi Maulid Arba'in. This undergraduate thesis is titled “The development of the Maulid Arba'in Tradition of the Arab village of Al-Munawwar 13 Ulu Palembang in 2007-2017”. The issue discussed is how the development of the Maulid Arba'in tradition of the Arab village of Al-Munawwar 13 Ulu Palembang in 2007-2017. This study aims to explain how the development of the Maulid Arba’in tradition of the Arab village of Al-Munawwar 13 Ulu Palembang in 2007-2017. This research was conducted using qualitative research methods used in historical methods, using Heuristic steps, Sources of Criticism, Interpretation, and Historiography. Data was collected by interview and observation. The validity of the interview was performed in detail to get valid results and therefore requires more than 4 or 5 people join the interview. Maulid Arba'in is held for 40 nights in the month of Rabiul and at the end of the final 10 of rabiul akhir. Itis performed in various places such as mosques, houses and open fields. Maulid Arba'in is not only followed by Arabs but is also open to the public in the city of Palembang. The development of this tradition is seen from the interests, community activities, the field of spirituality, and increasing love for the great prophet, the Prophet Muhammad.
