Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh substitusi semen dan limbah cangkang moluska terhadap kuat tekan mortar geopolimer. Pemanfaatan limbah cangkang yang kaya CaO sebagai substitusi abu terbang dan semen diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keberlanjutan dan efisiensi material dalam bahan konstruksi. Metodologi yang digunakan bersifat eksperimental, dengan variasi proporsi material, termasuk tingkat substitusi abu terbang sebesar 10–30% dan penambahan semen sebesar 5–10%. Uji kuat tekan dilakukan pada umur 3, 7, dan 28 hari mengikuti standar ASTM C109, beserta analisis mikrostruktur untuk memahami interaksi antar material. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi optimal, yang menghasilkan kekuatan tertinggi, adalah 60% abu terbang, 30% limbah cangkang, dan 10% semen, dengan kuat tekan 41,28 MPa pada umur 28 hari. Penelitian ini mendukung pembangunan berkelanjutan dengan menghargai limbah industri, mengurangi ketergantungan pada semen tradisional, dan memajukan bahan konstruksi yang ramah lingkungan.
