Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik melalui penggunaan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) Digital berbasis pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian yaitu peserta didik kelas VIII.3 SMP Negeri 45 Palembang pada tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi tes berupa tiga butir soal uraian (essay) dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik berada pada kategori sedang, dengan rincian: 24% atau 6 peserta didik dengan kategori kemampuan komunikasi matematis tinggi, 40% atau 10 peserta didik dengan kategori kemampuan komunikasi matematis sedang, dan 36% atau 9 peserta didik dengan kategori kemampuan komunikasi matematis rendah. Indikator komunikasi matematis tertinggi adalah written text (menulis) sebesar 86%, indikator drawing (menggambar) sebesar 63% dalam kategori sedang, dan indikator mathematical expression (ekspresi matematika) sebesar 52% dalam kategori rendah.
