Abstract
This classroom action research aims to improve chemistry learning outcomes of students in XI IPA 3 SMAN 1 Tanjung Raja through cooperative learning model Team Assisted Individualization. Research carried out in three cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. Data was collected using a test at the end of each cycle and student activity observation sheet. Based on research, obtained data completeness of the results of studying chemistry before action (T0) is 35.3% and an average score is 47.76. After giving type cooperative action using models Team Assisted Individualization (T1) completeness of learning students increased to 58.8% with an average score is 69.47. Then proceed with the action in cycle 2, completeness and the average score of students' increased to 75.7% and 81.15 and increased again in cycle 3 is 87.5% with an average score is 88.23. The results showed that by iapplying cooperative learning model Team Assisted Individualization can improve student learning outcomes chemistry, where T3>T2> T1> T0.
