Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor demografi yang memengaruhi durasi pencarian kerja di Kota Palembang, dengan fokus pada pendidikan, usia, jenis kelamin, pengalaman kerja, dan status pernikahan. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer, Metode yang digunakan adalah regresi logistik biner dengan data primer dari 68 responden pekerja di Palembang yang diambil melalui kuesioner online. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara simple random sampling via LinkedIn dan whatsaap, dengan durasi pencarian kerja dikategorikan menjadi dua: kurang dari 6 bulan (kode 0) dan lebih dari 6 bulan (kode 1). Tujuan penelitian adalah menguji pengaruh kelima variabel tersebut terhadap lamanya waktu pencarian kerja. Pengujian statistik meliputi Uji Omnibus, Hosmer-Lemeshow, Wald, odds ratio, dan marginal effect. Hasil penelitian mengonfirmasi bahwa peningkatan pendidikan, pengurangan kesenjangan gender dapat mempersingkat durasi pencarian kerja dan usia berpengaruh signifikan terhadap durasi mencari kerja di kota palembang.
