Abstract

The implementation of Lapkin in the Planning and Finance Section of the Palembang City Regional Secretariat has been effective even though there are several obstacles such as data entered into the system is inaccurate, irrelevant, or manipulated. With Lapkin, it is expected that the performance reporting process can be carried out more objectively. The adoption of the Performance Report System Innovation (Lapkin) is designed to provide convenience in collecting, processing, and presenting accurate and timely data. The location of this research was conducted at the Palembang City Regional Secretariat. This research focuses on employees in the Planning and Finance Section who are directly involved in the Lapkin implementation process. The theory used in this study is the innovation adoption theory from Everett Rogers, which explains that innovation adoption occurs through five stages: Knowledge, persuasion, decision, implementation, and confirmation. The research method used is qualitative with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of this study indicate that most employees have obtained basic information about Lapkin through socialization and training. The conclusion of this study is the need for an effective adoption process and requires support from all parties, including management and employees. This study recommends improving training and human resources to accelerate the adoption process across work units. Keywords: Innovation Adoption, Lapkin, Regional Secretariat.
