Abstract

The objective of this study was to know the society social interaction pattern of javaness ethnic and dawas ethnic in Cinta Damai village Sungai Lilin subdistrict Musi Banyuasin regency. This study was quantitative study. The population of this study was the javaness ethnic and dawas ethnic in cinta damai village. The technique to select the sample in this study was stratified proposional random sampling. for collectingt the data this study used documentation and questionnaire. Data analysis technique using the results of questionnaire which made its way to the javaness ethnic and dawas ethnic in view of the opinion of the results of assessment scores javaness ethnic and dawas ethnic who obtained an average score of 3,88 included in the criteria receive meaning it cant be concluded that parts of java as an immigrant dawas ethnic in cinta damai village tend to seek to get closer to the dawas ethnic as a native. The next value of the average score which was obtained dawas ethnic against javaness ethnic 3,68 cant be concluded that dawas ethnic as a native is also likely to seek to draw closer or receive parts of java as ethnic migrants. Conclusions that cant be taken in this study is the javaness ethnic and dawas ethnic equally seek to get closer to or accept the presence of each ethnic in the neighborhood in cinta damai village. The higher level of education is increasingly accepting or better the social interaction.
