Abstract

Pabrik pembuatan Formaldehid dengan kapasitas produksi 50.000 ton/tahun ini direncanakan berdiri pada tahun 2028 di daerah Bontang Lestari, Kecamatan Bontang Selatan, Kota Bontang, Kalimantan Timur dengan luas area sebesar 2,2 Ha. Pabrik beroperasi secara kontinu selama 24 jam/hari selama 300 hari operasional per tahun. Proses pembuatan mengacu pada patent WO 2022/079434 A1 tahun 2022. Bahan baku yang digunakan adalah metanol dan oksigen serta katalis berupa iron molybdenum oxide. Jenis reaktor yang digunakan adalah Fixed Bed Multitubular reactor, beroperasi pada temperatur 325oC dan tekanan 2 atm dengan proses mixed oxide catalyst. Bentuk perusahaan yang akan didirikan adalah Perseroan Terbatas (PT) dengan sistem organisasi line and staff serta total karyawan yaitu 176 pekerja. Berdasarkan hasil analisa ekonomi, pabrik ini layak untuk didirikan karena telah memenuhi parameter kelayakan ekonomi sebagai berikut. 1. Total Capital Investment = US$ 15.610.487,49 2. Selling Price per Year = US$ 24.301.285,71 3. Total Production Cost = US$ 15.728.007,23 4. Annual Cash Flow = US$ 7.565.153,51 5. Pay Out Time = 2,1 tahun 6. Rate of Return = 41,19% 7. Discounted Cash Flow = 47,80% 8. Break Even Point = 35,18% 9. Service Life = 11 Tahun Kata Kunci: Formaldehyde, Iron Molybdenum Oxide, Mixed Oxide Catalyst
