Abstract

Gijzling atau penyanderaan adalah penyitaan atas badan seseorang yang memiliki hutang pajak, tindak ini merupakan suatu penyataan, tetapi bukan langsung atas kekayaan melaikan diri seseorang yang memiliki utang atas pajak. permasalahan dalam tesis ini adalah bagaimana efektifitas gijzeling bagi wajib pajak pribadi yang tidak kooperatif setelah berlakunya undang-undang nomor 19 Tahun 2000 tentang penagihan pajak dengan surat paksa dan bagaimana aspek keadilan, dan kemanusian terkait dengan gijzeling terhadap wajib pajak pribadi yang tidak kooperatif, dalam penelitian tesisi ini menggunakan metode hukum normatif, dari hasil analisis dan penjelasan pada pembahasan tersebut dapat disimpulkan
