Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh nilai tukar dan inflasi terhadap daya saing ekspor gula pada sepuluh negara eksportir utama di dunia selama periode 2017–2023. Daya saing diukur menggunakan indikator Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) untuk menilai keunggulan komparatif masing- masing negara dalam perdagangan gula internasional. Data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder yang mencakup nilai ekspor gula (kode HS 1701), nilai tukar, dan tingkat inflasi, yang diperoleh dari Trade Map dan World Bank. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi data panel dengan pendekatan Fixed Effect Model (FEM), yang ditetapkan sebagai model terbaik berdasarkan hasil uji Chow, uji Hausman, dan uji Lagrange Multiplier. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai tukar dan inflasi secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap daya saing ekspor gula. Secara parsial, nilai tukar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan, sedangkan inflasi berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa stabilitas nilai tukar dan pengendalian inflasi merupakan faktor penting dalam memperkuat posisi kompetitif suatu negara di pasar gula global. Oleh karena itu, kebijakan ekonomi makro yang mendukung kestabilan indikator tersebut sangat diperlukan untuk meningkatkan daya saing ekspor komoditas gula.
