Abstract
Pabrik pembuatan bahan propilen glikol dengan kapasitas 59.000 ton/tahun direncanakan untuk berdiri pada tahun 2030 di Manyarejo, Kecamatan Manyar, Kabupaten Gresik, Provinsi Jawa Timur, yang diperkirakan memiliki luas area seluas 8,7 ha. Proses pembuatan senyawa ini mengacu kepada paten dengan nomor WO2023196469A1. Bahan baku yang digunakan yaitu gliserol dan hidrogen. Reaksi terjadi pada dua reaktor dengan jenis multitubular fixed bed reactor (220 C, 2 atm) dan trickle bed reactor (200 C, 4 atm). Pabrik produksi propilen glikol ini berbentuk Perseroan Terbatas (PT) yang dipimpin oleh direktur. Sistem organisasi perusahaan ini adalah line and staff dengan jumlah karyawan sebanyak 173 orang. Pabrik ini layak untuk didirikan karena telah memenuhi parameter kelayakan ekonomi: a. Hasil penjualan per tahun = US$ 109.434.207,17 b. Biaya produksi per tahun = US$ 59.529.628,65 c. Annual Cash Flow = US$ 44.646.726,39 d. Pay Out Time = 2,59 tahun e. Rate of Return on Investment = 32,55% f. Discounted Cash Flow-ROR = 38,76 % g. Break Even Point = 28,78% h. Service Life = 11 tahun
