Abstract
This study aims to design and implement a hybrid Solar Power Plant (PLTS) system as an energy source for a quail egg incubator based on the Internet of Things (IoT). The system was developed to address the limited electricity supply in remote areas and to ensure stable temperature and optimal humidity levels, which are crucial for the egg incubation process. The main components of the system include a 100 WP monocrystalline solar panel, a 12V 45Ah VRLA battery, a 1000W inverter, and current, voltage, temperature, and humidity sensors (DHT22) controlled by an ESP32 module and monitored in real time via the Blynk application. Testing over a 14-day period showed that the system was able to maintain the incubator temperature between 36–39°C and humidity between 40–55%, with an average temperature of 37.41°C and average humidity of 47.76%. It also provided sufficient power for 24-hour incubator operation. Monitoring via the Blynk app allows users to track conditions and receive direct notifications on their smartphones. This study proves that a hybrid IoT-based solar power system is an effective and sustainable solution for energy needs in small- to medium-scale poultry farming.
