Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan multimedia interaktif Solar System Scope dalam memfasilitasi pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi sistem tata surya di kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Indralaya pada semester genap tahun akademik 2024/2025 di. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen, dengan bentuk Pre-Experimental, dengan desain one group pretest posttest. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 31 siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan Solar System Scope. Instrumen penelitian berupa soal tes pemahaman konsep sebanyak 17 butir soal yang telah melalui validasi dan uji coba. Instrumen penelitian ini berupa tes yang disusun berdasarkan enam indikator pemahaman konsep yakni menafsirkan, memberi contoh, mengelompokkan, menarik inferensi, membandingkan dan menjelaskan. Analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji hipotesis dan perhitungan N-Gain. Hasil analisis menunjukkan terdapat signifikan pada pemahaman konsep siswa dengan nilai signifikansi <0.001 dan rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0.64 yang termasuk kategori sedang. Dengan demikian, multimedia interaktif Solar System Scope terbukti efektif dalam memfasilitasi siswa memahami konsep.
