Abstract

The rapid growth of Indonesia's construction sector has driven the development of public facilities such as hospitals. Behind this urgency, high-rise building construction has the potential to cause significant environmental impacts, making the application of Green Construction principles essential as part of a commitment to sustainable development. This study aims to assess the level of Green Construction implementation in the construction project of the Inpatient Building at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Central General Hospital, Palembang, using the Model Assessment Green Construction (MAGC) by Ervianto (2015), which consists of 6 aspects and 16 factors. Weighting was carried out using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method with the help of Expert Choice 11 software, while the implementation level was evaluated based on 142 field indicators. Data were collected through questionnaires involving 24 respondents from the contractor and consultant teams. The results show that the highest-weighted aspect was Occupational Health and Safety (0.399), while the lowest was Land Use Efficiency (0.071). However, the implementation of the Building Environmental Management aspect achieved the highest score of 5.08 out of an ideal value of 6.00. Overall, the project attained a Green Construction Score (NGC) of 18.92 out of 23.3, or approximately 81.2%, which is categorized as fairly good. These findings reflect the stakeholders' commitment to sustainability, although improvements are still needed, particularly in aligning priority weights with actual implementation in the field.
