Abstract

Content production management refers to the comprehensive coordination of how an organization or company manages and organizes its resources to achieve production targets, particularly in the context of social media. This study aims to understand how Mind Creative Agency professionally and strategically manages the content production for the Instagram account @olimpia_cafe. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews, documentation, and non-participant observation by analyzing content posted on the @olimpia_cafe Instagram account. The findings reveal that the content production process involves four key stages. In the Planning stage, the team develops a content plan based on Instagram insights, content pillars, and relevant moments. The Organizing stage includes a clear division of roles among the person in charge, social media strategist, and content creator, with a flexible coordination system mostly conducted online. During the Actuating stage, the team produces content with attention to storytelling, visual format, and scheduling consistency. The Controlling stage involves evaluating content performance through digital metrics such as engagement, reach, and interaction, followed by content strategy adjustments for the next period. This study also finds that the Controlling process in digital media is more complex than in conventional practices, due to algorithm dynamics, shifting audience responses, and the need for real-time strategic adaptation. Overall, the content production management carried out by Mind Creative Agency operates in a structured, collaborative, and adaptive manner to meet the dynamic demands of social media.
