Abstract
Pabrik pembuatan Tetrahidrofuran dengan kapasitas produksi 35.000 ton/tahun ini direncanakan berdiri pada tahun 2033 di Kawasan Industri Java Integrated Industrial and Ports Estate (JIIPE), Gresik, Provinsi Jawa Timur dengan perkiraan luas area sebesar 2,5 Ha. Bahan baku dari pembuatan tetrahidrofuran ini adalah 1,4-butanadiol, solven dimetil sulfoksida, dan katalis Amberlyst 35. Proses pembuatan kalsium fluorida ini mengacu pada US Patent No. US2021/0061780A1/2021 dengan proses dehidrasi 1,4-butanadiol membentuk tetrahidrofuran menggunakanproses distilasi reaktif. Jenis reaktor yang digunakan adalah kolom distilasi reaktif dengan katalis fixed bed packing. Zona reaksi beroperasi pada temperatur 104-119oC dan tekanan 0,8-1,0 kg/cm2G sedangkan zona rektifikasi beroperasi pada temperatur 87,7-100,4oC dan tekanan 0,7 kg/cm2G atm. Proses purifikasi dengan metode distilasi ekstraktif dilakukan untuk mendapatkan tetrahidrofuran dengan kemurnian 99,95%. Perusahaan berbentuk Perseroan Terbatas (PT) dengan sistem organisasi Line dan Staff, dipimpin oleh seorang Direktur dengan total karyawan 109 orang. Berdasarkan hasil analisa ekonomi, pabrik Tetrahidrofuran ini layak untuk didirikan karena telah memenuhi berbagai macam persyaratan parameter ekonomi, yaitu sebagai berikut: • Total Capital Investment (TCI) = US$ 32.379.844,10 • Total Penjualan = US$ 105.288.948,89 • Total Production Cost (TPC) = US$ 85.646.477,39 • Annual Cash Flow = US$ 12.683.066,63 • Pay Out Time = 3 tahun • Rate Of Return On Investment (ROR) = 37,00% • Discounted Cash Flow –ROR = 38,27% • Break Even Point (BEP) = 45,40% • Service Life = 11 tahun Kata Kunci: Tetrahidrofuran, 1,4-Butanadiol, Distilasi Reaktif, Perseroan Terbatas.
