Abstract
Lactic Acid Manufacturing Plant with a production capacity of 105.000 tons/year is planned to be established in 2030 in the Karangaji area, Jepara Regency, Central Java Province, Indonesia, with an estimated land area of 6,80 ha. The main raw materials for producing lactic acid are glycerol, KOH, CO2. The production process of lactic acid refers to patent KR20240137868A. The reaction takes place in a continuous stirred tank reactor (CSTR) under operating condition of 200°C and 63 atm. This plant will be organize as a limited liability company (PT), with a line and staff organizational structure, lead by director and employing a total of 241 workers. Based on economic analysis, this lactic acid plant is feasible to established as it need the following economic feasibility parameters: Total Capital Investment (TCI) = US$ 133.850.920,5052 Total sales per year = US$ 735.351.116,5330 Total Production Cost (TPC) = US$ 569.575.882,8583 Annual Cash Flow = US$ 128.153.630,2682 Pay Out Time (POT) = 1,1969 years Rate of Return on Investment (ROR) = 86,70% Discounted Cash Flow - ROR = 65,90 % Break Even Point (BEP) = 23,82 %
