Abstract

The summary must be in a maximum of 300 words. You can use the 'word count' facility on Microsoft Word to help count the number of words. The summary begins with explaining the background of the problem followed by the design goals, the fact, and the general concept of solution. The general concept is not a design concept that has construct by the analysis process but it is a theme, approach or initial idea of the student in solving the design problems. For example, a student that plans to create a training center for people with visual impairments and blind people so he proposes to solve the problem of building design with the concept of the behavior approach. The beginning part of the summary outlines the sub-chapter of the introduction in several sentences. In simple terms, each paragraph in the introduction can be one sentence for the summary. At the ending part of the summary is filled with the concept design of the final project. This part summarizes the design concepts written in chapter 4. These are a resume of each paragraph on the four concepts; site, architecture, structure, and utilities in 4-6 sentences. The summary contains only one paragraph. Close this page with keywords.
