Abstract

Kabupaten Mandailing Natal memiliki potensi seni, salah satunya musik tradisional Gordang Sambilan. Namun, belum tersedia fasilitas yang mewadahi aktivitas seni tersebut. Karena itu, diperlukan pusat seni yang mendukung pelestarian dan pengembangan Gordang Sambilan sebagai simbol budaya lokal. Perancangan ini bertujuan menghadirkan fasilitas yang maksimal dan fungsional, dengan desain ikonik bergaya arsitektur tradisional. Pendekatan kontekstual digunakan dengan merepresentasikan bentuk dan susunan massa rumah adat Mandailing Natal serta memadukan elemen lokal sebagai identitas budaya masyarakat.
