Abstract

This research aims to develop a teaching module based on Project Based Learning (PjBL) in the Bench Work course for students of the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program at Sriwijaya University. The method used in this study is Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D development model, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. At the validation stage, the assessment from the subject matter expert showed an average score of 3.50 or 87.5%, which was included in the very valid category. and the media expert also showed an average score of 3.25 or 81.37%, which was in the valid category. Furthermore, the results of the practicality test obtained from student responses showed that the module obtained an average score of 3.32 or 83.25% and was in the very good category, in the aspect of creativity and innovation, the score was at 3.00 or 75%, which shows that there is a potential for further improvement so that the module is able to stimulate new ideas more optimally.
