Abstract

Eksploitasi lahan berskala besar, khususnya metode tambang terbuka, menyebabkan degradasi vegetasi, serta mengubah kondisi iklim dan neraca air secara regional. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kabupaten Lahat, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan, salah satu wilayah dengan cadangan batubara terbesar di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perubahan spasio-temporal tutupan lahan akibat aktivitas pertambangan serta dampaknya terhadap iklim dan neraca air. Data yang digunakan meliputi citra satelit Landsat dan MODIS periode 2000–2024, data Global Land Data Assimilation System (GLDAS), serta data klimatologi curah hujan dan suhu permukaan. Metode yang digunakan mencakup pengolahan NDVI untuk identifikasi deforestasi, analisis tren menggunakan Mann-Kendall, Sen’s Slope, dan Innovative Trend Analysis (ITA), klasifikasi iklim dengan metode Schmidt-Ferguson, serta perhitungan neraca air melalui komponen evapotranspirasi, curah hujan, dan runoff. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa luas area pertambangan meningkat sebesar 8,04% dari 345,46 ha menjadi 5.859,36 ha. LST menunjukkan tren kenaikan sebesar 0,035 °C setiap tahunnya, sedangkan curah hujan mengalami penurunan -0,18 mm setiap tahunnya. Hubungan antara tren LST dan curah hujan menunjukkan hubungan yang berbanding terbalik, dengan nilai korelasi -0,5. Iklim pada wilayah kajian masuk dalam kategori tipe A (sangat basah) dengan perubahan iklim yang terjadi pada tahun 2015-2019 yang disebabkan oleh pengaruh iklim global. Neraca air mengindikasikan terjadi perubahan yang diakibatkan deforestasi mempengaruhi evapotranspirasi dan runoff.
