Abstract

Research entitled Empowerment of Farmers Groups Through the Capital Assistance Program By Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDES) in Utilizing Village Empowerment Funds in Gelebak Village in Rambutan District, Banyuasin Regency. The purpose of this research is to study the form of empowerment of farmer groups in Gelebak Dalam Village, and to find out the inhibiting factors and supporting factors for the form of empowerment. This study uses qualitative methods, by conducting observations, in-depth interviews with seven informants and collecting other important documents to obtain data and facts in the field. The timing of the empowerment program that is not synchronized with the farmers' farming time is the main problem found in this study. The results of this study show an example of empowerment of farmer groups in Gelebak Village in the empowerment program by the Village-Owned Enterprises and the appointment of farmer groups in the program.
