Abstract

Latar belakang: Permasalahan Kesehatan gigi dan mulut di Indonesia pada tahun 2013 hingga 2018, mengalami peningkatan signifikan, salah satunya adalah Maloklusi. Prevalensi maloklusi pada rentang waktu tahun 2013 hingga 2018 sangat tinggi mencapai 80%. Maloklusi memerlukan perawatan ortodonti, Clear aligner merupakan alat ortodonti lepasan yang dirancang menggunakan teknologi digital. Salah satu metode pencarian ruang adalah ekstraksi gigi. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas clear aligner dalam perawatan ortodonti dengan ekstraksi gigi. Metode: Tinjauan pustaka naratif ini dengan menggunakan pencarian jurnal melalui database Google Scholar, PubMed, DOAJ, dan Sciendirect. Data dianalisis untuk mengetahui efektivitas clear aligner dengan ekstraksi gigi Hasil: Jurnal ini menggunakan tiga belas jurnal yang di akses pada 16 Mei 2025 – 20 Mei 2025, terdiri dari case-report, cohort study, dan multivariate analysis. Seluruh jurnal pada tinjauan pustaka ini menyatakan perbaikan pada overjet dan overbite, crowding, menutup ruang ekstraksi, serta memperbaiki relasi molar dan profil wajah pasien. Kesimpulan: Clear aligner dapat digunakan pada perawatan ortodonti dengan ekstraksi gigi.
