Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterampilan peserta didik dalam membaca dan menulis permulaan melalui media flashcard. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian divalidasi oleh validator observasi, wawancara, materi, dan media. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan membaca dan menulis permulaan peserta didik berada pada lategori baik dengan rata-rata skor sebesar 76,5. Aspek keterampilan membaca mencapai rata-rata 79,8, sedangkan keterampilan menulis memperoleh rata-rata 73,2. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa keterampilan membaca dan menulis permulaan melalui media flashcard dapat menjadi alternatif media pembelajaran yang menarik dan mendukung peningkatan keterampilan membaca dan menulis permulaan peserta didik.
