Abstract
This research aims to design and test an automatic water level control system using the US-015 ultrasonic sensor and NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller. The system operates by reading the water level through the sensor and automatically controlling the water pump based on predefined minimum and maximum thresholds. The water level data is displayed in real-time on an LCD. Testing was conducted at five set points (5–25 cm) by comparing the system's readings with manual measurements. Results show that the device has high accuracy, with a maximum bias of 0.18 cm and a maximum error of 1.75%. Accuracy reached 100% at several points, and low standard deviation indicates good system stability. The system proved to be reliable and effective for monitoring and controlling water levels. Future improvements may include the addition of hysteresis logic and the use of higher-precision sensors.
