Abstract
Penggunaan pupuk kimia jangka panjang dapat merusak struktur tanah, mencemari lingkungan, dan mengurangi keanekaragaman biota tanah. Sebagai alternatif yang ramah lingkungan, biofertilizer merupakan solusi untuk mendukung pertanian berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan mengidentifikasi bakteri rizosfer dari tanaman karet (Hevea brasiliensis L.) yang berpotensi menghasilkan hormon IAA (Indole Acetic Acid). Sebanyak 15 isolat diperoleh dari 5 titik sampel di Desa Payakabung, Kabupaten Ogan Ilir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 3 isolat yang menghasilkan hormon IAA, yaitu isolat K2 (17,20 ppm), K12 (17,03 ppm), dan K13 (16,32 ppm). Identifikasi menunjukkan bahwa isolat K2 berasal dari genus Neisseria, K12 dari genus Pseudomonas dan K13 dari genus Bacillus.
