Abstract

This study aims to develop an E-LKPD (Electronic Student Worksheet) based on the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) approach with the help of Python on the subject of global warming to improve high school students' critical thinking skills and sustainability awareness. The background of this study stems from the importance of integrating technology-based education and sustainability values into the Merdeka Curriculum, which emphasizes strengthening the Pancasila student profile. This study uses the Rowntree development model, which includes the planning, development, and evaluation stages, as well as Tessmer's formative evaluation (self-evaluation, expert review, one-to-one evaluation, small group, and field test). The research instruments include a validation sheet, a practicality questionnaire, and an effectiveness test. Expert validation indicated that the developed E-LKPD was highly valid (average 93.83%) Practicality, based on one-to-one and small group evaluations, reached the "very practical category (average 98.61%). The effectiveness of the product was tested through pretest and posttest, with an N-Gain result of 061 (moderate category). Additionally, there was a significant increase in students sustainability awareness from 67.61 to 89.16, with a positive and significant correlation between pretest and posttest scores. These results indicate that the Python-assisted STEM-based E-LKPD is effective in training students' critical thinking skills and sustainability awareness, and has the potential to become an innovative learning medium relevant to global issues such as climate change.
