Abstract
Air quality is one of the important factors affecting human health and the evironment. Increasing urban activities and vehicle emissions hane a negative impact on air quality, especially exposure to carbon monoxide (CO) and particulate matter (PM2.5) which are harmful to human health. This study aims to develop an air quality monitoring system with a focus on real-time detection of CO gas and PM2.5 particles. Using MQ-7 and GP2Y1014AU0F sensors integrated with the NodeMCU ESP32 microcontroller as a data processing unit. Th results of data processing will be displayed locally via the I2C LCD and sent to the Internet of Things (IoT) platform in the form of a Blynk application for remote monitoring and data storage. This tool is designed to be portable using a power bank as the main power supply. Based on the measuring instrument works well, with an average carbon monoxide accuracy of 96% and a precision of 90%. while the average particulate matter accuracy is 89% and a precision of 97%.
