Abstract

This study aims to develop and validate a physical fitness test model based on the Tesfilit application for athletes of the Student Sports Education and Training Center (PPLP) in Musi Banyuasin Regency, and to evaluate its effectiveness as a standardized testing protocol. The research background highlights the need for a comprehensive, efficient, and digitalized fitness assessment system, addressing the limitations of conventional physical testing at PPLP. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using a modified Borg & Gall model through ten systematic stages. Participants included 163 athletes aged 10–17 years from 19 sports disciplines. Data collection techniques included expert validation, field testing, and questionnaires. The physical fitness components assessed were strength, speed, agility, power, flexibility, and VO₂max. Expert validation results showed a very high level of validity, with an average score of 90% (material 93.3%, technical 86.7%, media 90%). The model’s effectiveness reached 97.5%, and the practicality of the Tesfilit application scored 100%. These findings indicate that the physical fitness test model based on the Tesfilit application is valid, practical, and effective for systematic and digital athlete evaluation.
