Abstract
This study aims to analyse synergy in accelerating the reduction of stunting in Seram Bagian Timur Regency, as well as to identify supporting and hindering factors. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document studies. The concept of synergy refers to Najiyati (2011), which includes dimensions of communication and coordination. The results indicate progress through the active role of local governments in cross-sectoral communication and coordination, as well as the implementation of specific and sensitive interventions. However, synergy is not yet optimal. Communication barriers include limited information media and a lack of effective feedback, while coordination challenges include capacity constraints among cadres, low awareness among villages and communities, budget constraints, insufficient health personnel, and difficult geographical conditions. Therefore, it is recommended to strengthen synergy through human resource development, equitable distribution of health personnel, increased awareness among communities and village governments, strengthened funding, and interventions tailored to local conditions.
