Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) Pengaruh financial attitude terhadap pengelolaan keuangan mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Sriwijaya, 2) Pengaruh kontrol diri terhadap pengelolaan keuangan mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Sriwijaya, 3) Pengaruh financial attitude dan kontrol diri terhadap pengelolaan keuangan mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Sriwijaya. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi Angkatan 2021. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil menggunakan teknik simple random sampling sehingga diperoleh jumlah sampel 63 mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan angket dan wawancara. Uji validitas instrumen menggunakan rumus korelasi product moment dan uji reliabilitas instrumen dengan menggunakan rumus Alpha Cronbach. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Terdapat pengaruh financial attitude terhadap pengelolaan keuangan mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Sriwijaya dengan nilai t_hitung 7,049>t_tabel 1,999, 2) Terdapat pengaruh kontrol diri terhadap pengelolaan keuangan mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Sriwijaya dengan nilai t_hitung 10,18>t_tabel 1,999, 3) Terdapat pengaruh financial attitude dan kontrol diri terhadap pengelolaan keuangan mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Sriwijaya dengan nilai F_hitung 15,085>F_tabel 3,15. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian penguatan financial attitude dan kontrol diri perlu diimbangi dengan peningkatan literasi keuangan guna membentuk perilaku keuangan yang lebih sehat dan bertanggung jawab.
