Abstract
This study aims to design and develop an Internet of Things (IoT)-based smart door system that integrates automatic door security and digital attendance. The system uses RFID technology for access authentication and NodeMCU as the main microcontroller that connects devices to the internet. By scanning a registered RFID card, users can automatically unlock the door, and attendance data is recorded in a web-based system in real-time. The testing results indicate that the system can read RFID cards quickly and accurately, operate the solenoid door lock automatically, and record attendance without manual intervention. The developed web application allows remote door control and attendance monitoring via an internet connection. This research demonstrates that the application of IoT technology in security and attendance systems enhances efficiency, security, and accuracy in managing room access.
