Abstract

Pinang Banjar Tourist Attraction is one of the destinations located in Gelumbang District, Muara Enim Regency. It covers an area of 17 hectares and offers natural beauty that is still pristine and well-preserved, attracting visitors from both within and outside the region. This tourist attraction has become iconic as it can operate well during both the dry and rainy seasons, supported by its respective facilities. However, the site still has some shortcomings, particularly regarding budget, road access, as well as infrastructure and facilities. Therefore, this study aims to find appropriate development strategies to improve Pinang Banjar tourism. The research method used is qualitative descriptive, which involves detailing and describing the dimensions of SWOT analysis—strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in order to determine suitable development strategies. The findings of this study are based on the results of the SWOT analysis, which were gathered through interviews, observations, and documentation by the researcher. The recommended strategies for development identified in this study are intensive strategies and diversification strategies. Keywords: Development Strategy, Banjar Pinang Tourism, SWOT Analysis
