Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dampak dari penerapan strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe Everyone is a Teacher Here terhadap tingkat motivasi belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Ekonomi di SMA Negeri 1 Palembang. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen berbentuk One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI IPS yang berjumlah 118 orang, dengan teknik pemilihan sampel berupa cluster random sampling yang menghasilkan satu kelas eksperimen sebanyak 29 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket dan observasi. Angket digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat motivasi belajar sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan, sedangkan observasi digunakan untuk mengamati pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa strategi Everyone is a Teacher Here memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar, yang dibuktikan dengan hasil uji-t sebesar thitung = 46,86 lebih besar dari ttabel = 1,699 pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Dengan demikian, hipotesis diterima bahwa strategi pembelajaran aktif Everyone is a Teacher Here berkontribusi positif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik. Diharapkan strategi ini dapat diadopsi oleh pendidik dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif, partisipatif, dan bermakna.
