Abstract
This study aims to analyze the income of robusta coffee farmers who apply the grafting technique, determine farmers' perceptions of this technique, identify factors that influence farmers' perceptions, and analyze the relationship between farmers' perceptions and robusta coffee farm income in Sinjar Bulan Village, Gumay Ulu District, Lahat Regency. The study was conducted in April 2025 using a survey method. The sample was determined using purposive sampling with a total of 41 robusta coffee farmers as respondents. The results of the study showed that the average income of farmers who applied the grafting technique was Rp39,574,478.54 per year per hectare. Farmers' perceptions of the grafting technique were classified as good with an average score of 95.37 based on five perception indicators. Multiple linear regression analysis showed that the variables of farming experience and business capital had a significant effect on perception, while education, access to information, and farmer confidence did not have a significant effect. The results of the Spearman rank analysis showed a strong, positive, and significant relationship between farmers' perceptions of the grafting technique and their income from robusta coffee farming.
