Abstract
Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) are essential to improving sustainability and productivity in rubber farming. This study examines the perception of rubber farmers towards the implementation of GAP in Bunglai Village, Kedaton Peninjauan Raya District, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. The objectives are to identify farmer characteristics, assess their perceptions of GAP, and analyze the factors influencing these perceptions. Data were collected using a survey method with incidental sampling technique, of 38 respondents. Primary data were obtained through structured interviews and questionnaires using a Likert scale to measure perceptions. Data analysis involved descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression after transforming ordinal data into interval scale via the Succession Interval Method (MSI). The findings show that most farmers are in the productive age group, have moderate education levels, and extensive farming experience. Overall, farmers positively perceive GAP implementation with an average score of 53,89, though support remains a challenge. Significant factors influencing perception include land size, information sources, education, social interaction.
