Abstract

PT Victor Dua Tiga Mega is a company engaged in mining with a Mining Business License (IUP) of 3464 Ha, located in Luwe Hulu, West Lahei District, North Barito Regency, Central Kalimantan Province. Overburden or coal cover material that has been excavated needs to be moved to a location called a disposal area. Inpit dump is an area located within the mine site that is used to stockpile overburden material, so that it does not interfere with the ongoing mining process. The company targets production of coal and bcm of overburden in the life of mine. Therefore, it is necessary to plan and design the inpit dump capacity so that the production target in the Q2 period of 2025 is achieved. Minescape 5.7 software will be a tool to plan the design and capacity of the inpit dump. Furthermore, calculating the number of excavation and transportation equipment needs. Q2 period of 2025 with a production of 2.015.811,52 overburden bcm and 174.914,01 tons of coal, with a stripping ratio (SR) of 11,52. In April 668.913,31 bcm of overburden and 58.042,29 tons of coal. In May 691.769,24 bcm of overburden and 60.025,52 tons of coal. In June 655.128,96 bcm of overburden and 56.846,20 tons of coal. In the Q2 Period of 2025 the inpit dump design can be planned to accommodate as much as 2.102.568,76 Bcm of overburden.
