Abstract
The availability of clean water that is stable and well-managed is a fundamental necessity, particularly in residential areas with independent water distribution systems, such as the one implemented in Griya Gerbang Emas Housing Complex. However, this system still faces challenges in monitoring water flow rates, pressure levels, and the service life of water filters, which are currently checked manually. To address these issues, this research designs an Internet of Things (IoT)-based monitoring system for water input and output using the ESP32 microcontroller. The system is equipped with a YF-S201 flow sensor to measure incoming and outgoing water flow, and a Gravity DFRobot water pressure sensor connected via an ADS1115 module to detect tank pressure and estimate water volume. Sensor data is transmitted to the Blynk application in real-time via Wi-Fi, enabling efficient remote monitoring. Test results show that the system is capable of accurately measuring water volume and pressure, and supports features such as flow data reset and early warning notifications in case of anomalies. This system has proven effective in enhancing the efficiency of community-based independent water management and supports the implementation of smart living concepts in residential environments.
