Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh variasi temperatur terhadap kadar air tanah gambut pada kedalaman tetap di Desa Kedaton, Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir. Sampel gambut diambil pada tiga kedalaman 1 meter dan diuji menggunakan metode oven dengan variasi suhu 50°C, 100°C, dan 150°C. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi temperatur, kadar air gambut mengalami penurunan yang signifikan. Karakteristik kadar air tersebut memberikan gambaran penting terkait risiko kekeringan dan potensi kebakaran lahan gambut. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam memahami respons fisik gambut terhadap pemanasan serta menjadi dasar pengelolaan lahan gambut yang lebih berkelanjutan
