Abstract

PT. Bukit Asam Tbk is one of the coal mining companies that employs open-pit mining to extract coal. After the mining activities are carried out, reclamation activities are then implemented. The background of this research is that environmental damage often occurs in every mining activity, including the degradation of environmental quality, such as ecosystem destruction, and even poses a threat to human survival. Therefore, efforts are needed to preserve the environment in order to prevent further damage. One of the ways to do this is through reclamation. The purpose of this research is to identify environmental monitoring activities, observe and examine the series of reclamation processes, which include land arrangement, revegetation, and final completion. The method used in this research is the survey method, which emphasizes observation and measurement of various research objects or variables to determine the conformity of reclamation implementation. The conclusion obtained from this study is that ID 69 achieved a success rate of 80.36%, and ID 70 reached 80.35%, indicating a high success rate in this area, as each assessed parameter generally received high scoring.
