Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of work discipline and extrinsic motivation on the performance of outsourcing employees through job satisfaction as a mediating variable. The population used in this study were all non-organic outsourcing workers of PT. Pupuk Sriwidjaja totaling 239 people. The sample used a saturation sampling technique where all non-organic outsourcing workers of PT. Pupuk Sriwidjaja totaling 239 people were taken as samples. The analysis method used in this study is a structural equation model. The results showed that work discipline contributed directly and significantly to performance, extrinsic motivation did not directly affect performance, work discipline did not directly affect job satisfaction, extrinsic motivation was able to significantly increase job satisfaction, job satisfaction had a direct effect on performance, job satisfaction was unable to mediate the effect of work discipline on performance, but job satisfaction was able to mediate the effect of extrinsic motivation on performance.
