Abstract

Analyze strengths and force at twist lock is distributed on an important matter because it concerns about the performance of a Container crane lifter as vveli as the factor of safety of the device. Twist lock hook is a tool that plays an important role in the sprcader that allows it to associate with a Container spreader to do the next appointmenl. In this analysis the ratio calculation analytically and numerically using Software SolidWork2010. This analysis is done using three assume the assignment conditions on one side of the loading condition twist lock hook, loading on both sides of the twist lock and load on the condition of trouble. The results of the calculations show that the twist lock is used on the spreader at PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia II. (Persero). Palembang branch safe to use.
