Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of gender as a moderation of financial literacy on financial satisfaction. The population in this study were students of Sriwijaya University, UIN Raden Fattah, Muhammadiyah University, Tridinanti University, and PGRI University. The sample of this study was selected based on sampling criteria, namely active undergraduate students as many as 100 respondents at Palembang city in one month. The research method used is regression analysis with moderating variable. These results indicate that financial literacy is a significant effect on financial satisfaction. On the other hand Gender is insignificantly thus gender is not a moderating variable of financial literacy on satisfaction of student finance in Palembang.
